Thermostat error code E 1

Hello all my wife is alone at our camper (327res) 2011, and I'm at home 60 miles away. She had a bad storm go through tonight and the a/c no worky now. It's showing an error code on the thermostat E 1, we did all the initializing and resetting and it's still showing that code and won't work. Anyone have any suggestions? The thermostat is a Dometic single line. I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance

Sorry I'm home already, my dometic folder is in my tool box at work. If you don't get an answer by morning, I can post.

"Single line"- do you mean a single zone square LED read out thermostat?

Yes that's correct, I read the error code in the dometic on line instructions and it said " Loss of communication between the Single Zone LCD and the module board"

Here's what the Dometic manual says for error code E1:

Error Code:
E1 Loss of communication between the Single Zone LCD thermostat and the module
board. LCD will cycle between E1 and the previous mode setting. System
will shut down.

My best guess: Chances are the orange wire inside the overhead airbox is not well connected. However that's just a guess. Somewhere, either behind the thermostat or on the A/C there's a loose or disconnected wire.

I had the E1 code a few weeks ago - Found a loose wire in the ceiling box - wire nut fell off.
