It was well worth a one way ticket on Southwest and a day and a half of my time to get it and drive it back to SoCal. Very pleased with how it tows and how it rides. I, too, went with the Companion hitch in the factory prep. The only remaining thing I can't make my mind up about is whether or not to put a set of air bags on it. With my Raptor hooked up, it squats pretty good, but I'm still level or a bit tail high. But I'm wondering if the bags will help with ride quality. Anyway....nice truck...enjoy!

Oh...one more thing that I found out recently (in the manual and at the dealer) - under routine maintenance, the severe duty recommendation is to change the differential fluid at 15,000 miles. What's severe duty? I don't know...but the dealer said 'towing something heavy and towing it a lot'...whatever that means ;-)
I would steer away from the air bags if sitting level. I had them on my F250 and they worked but they cause a pretty stiff ride, but i also had to run 60 psi in them to bring the tail end up. My Fuzion sits my Ram down level and that right where i want to be. Never be a Ram guy but i am liking it so far.

Differential fluid change at 15k?? I better look in my manual as I wasn't aware of this either. Dealer hasn't mentioned it to me either (14 with 41k on it about 5100 of those towing 16k)

Very nice truck!

What are the main things you find improved over the 2500 series?

As well, anyone else having issues with their front tires wearing on the outside. 2014 with 30000kms on it, replaced the front tires twice and need to be replaced again. Dealer has replaced the tires each time no charge, they just put aftermarket adjustable ball joints on it and appears to have fixed it. Will replace the tires again shortly now that it looks like it is fixed.

I haven't had any issues with my front tires but only 8100 miles . On cumminsforum.com I hear a lot of people complaining the stock tires don't last very long though.

The stock Firestone H/T tires lasted about 50,00 miles for me, without any abnormal wear issues.

My truck came with Nexan tires, they do wear very fast as the back tires wore off in an even pattern in 30k KMs which is roughly 19k miles. The front tires is a clear outer edge going bald after 6k miles or 10k KMs.

Ok just looked on my ram again today. After 8700 miles my fronts are definitely wearing faster on the outside than the rears. I guess it's time for a rotation anyway but this seems unusual for a new truck. They are wearing evenly at least on the outside fronts.... I have a/t's

Check your truck's steering for this problem!

http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/20...ering-now.html

My new Ram 2500 4x4 with only 8600 miles is going back to the dealership on Monday for the second time over this issue. The dealership and I thought it was a problem on the assembly line with the person doing the front end alignments but it has loosened up a second time on me. Its unsettling to say the least.
