2015 Cougar 326SRX one year report

Well, February marks a year since we bought our new Cougar, purchased from Diamond RV in Hatfield, MA. The buying process was a breeze, they are thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They gave us a great value on both our trade, and the new unit.

The 326 is a toyhauler, but we don't really use it as one. We have it parked on property we own in the New Hampshire White Mountains, and use it as our escape from our home in CT. The lot has electric, internet, and a septic system, although no drilled well yet. To that end, I fill the holding tank from 7 gallon jugs with a transfer pump when the season permits. In the winter, we dry camp, using the toilet by pouring flush water directly into it, and draining the tank before we leave. The toyhauler design works great for us, as the back room and seperate entrance work great for guests, and as a mudroom for bringing our dogs in and out of the unit.

Ive spent 56 nights in the Cougar in the last year. Other than a few minor warranty issues, the camper has been wonderful, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Cougar product in the future. Ive been pleasantly surprised at how well it holds heat in below freezing temperatures. The single AC kept the unit comfortable on the hottest summer days. All of the appliances and mechanicals have functioned as they should. The auto level did give us some difficulty, but the dealer corrected that with a replacement control unit. The camper towed great, and it is also working well as an extended stay vacation home. We couldnt be happier with our purchase.

Glad you are enjoying your Cougar. How far is it from your home to the mountains?

We purchased our Cougar on December 15th. We started the maiden voyage from NC to FL on 1/9/16. Just 1 more week and we head home again.

We are approaching our 1 year mark from Diamond RV as well. The dealership has been excellent. We love our Montana. It has had a few issues, but Diamond and Keystone have been great.

Wow, what a great looking set! Glad you are able to get out and enjoy it. We've been full timing for 2.7 years and loving it!

As a fellow 326SRX owner, I understand, and echo your experience. We actually use ours as a toy hauler and have lived in it for up to two months straight. Couldn't be happier.

Looking forward to spring and more "camping" and exploring in the NV mountains and desert with the ATV/UTV.

Love our 2014 326SRX also. We have used ours as a toyhauler and used the garage as a bedroom and storage. Now if I can keep the squirrels from tearing up my A/Cs again!!!

The TV and the refrigerator plugs are both on a GFCI. Chances are it's either in your galley or in the bathroom. Almost every problem with "sudden power loss" on multiple outlets is a GFCI issue.

Hahaha. My home garage has a string on a GFCI and I've done that before too! "I swear I reset that stupid thing!" :-)

Overall this trailer has been gr8! We use the heck out of it and in 2.5 seasons we haven't had any trouble other than the awning coming away from the trailer. Of which didn't get fixed by the dealer the first attempt.

we bought our TT from Diamond as well, and had no issues with them or the TT we have. We're currently looking at a Montana 3710FL they have, but reading through some real world reviews on it first but each it's own.

Glad to hear you're having a good time and enjoying the Cougar, that's what it's all about
