Two ceiling AC outlets dead.

I just noticed that two of my ceiling AC outlets are dead in my 08 245RKS, one is the outlet for the bedroom TV and the other is in the headboard over the bed.

How in the world am I going to troubleshoot this? All the wires are obviously in the ceiling and there are no blown fuses? The outlet for the main TV is fine as is the one by the bathroom sink.

I'm guessing its hard to drop the ceiling panels down without disturbing them and making a mess.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This is just a guess, but look for and test all of the GFCIs first. There's no telling how the outlets are daisy chained.

Sometimes you'll be amazed by that. Out kitchen and dining room outlets are on the same GFI as the bathroom.

Have you checked all other outlets? Don't forget the one outside. We have found it to be the GFI outlets in the past.

There should be no need to remove any panels. The only connections for the wires should be at the outlets and the circuit breaker itself. FUSES are for 12v dc only.

OP back, sure enough you guys were right when you said it would be a
gfi outlet.

I reset the gfi outlet over the kitchen counter and low and behold the two outlets in the bedroom came on....its funny that gfi outlet that I reset worked fine.

Thanks again..

Did you recently plug or unplug something from that outlet? Sometimes I bump the test button when plugging or unplugging from the main gfi outlet.

Nope, I'm thinking the 5 days of rain we had recently boosted the humidity levels really high in the camper (it felt like a swamp) may have triggered it.
