Amazon motor is not Lippert. Great price as long as it lasts, DIY person can afford a failure or 2. Shop wouldn’t want to eat the comeback.

Just attended training last Thursday in Napa. IIRC the instructor said they were made in house in Indiana. I know the controllers are, but I thought he said the motors were too.

This is muddying the water, but I met a camper who said he replaced his slide out motor with a car window motor.

There is no way any window motor will replace a slide out motor. Maybe an awning.

The Chevy Lumina front window motor will fit the Solara awning, but I've never seen a "window motor" with enough torque to power a slide. I'd sure like to see how that retrofit went together.....
