Welcome to the forum

Depending on brand there is a couple different ways they are mounted. If the surround lifts or pulls off then there will be 4 squarehead screws holding it in. Others are mounted at the back, and you have to remove the top wood trim and lift the fireplace off the bracket. A pic would be a huge help.

Here's a link to the manual for a BLT-999W-2 insert. It might give you some idea on how to remove it. If this is not it a pic will help. You need to measure the cutout once it's out.

I have the same furnace in my 2014 Alpine.. to remove the fireplace you MUST remove that outer fake wood trim around the sides and top... Once removed you will see four screws to remove that hold the fireplace into its insert area... Slide out and unplug

if the fireplace is broke and you cant fix it then measure the cutout and look online and order a new one that will fit into your spot

I appreciate all the help. I wish I’d found this forum before we decided to live on the lake in a camper (2 yrs strong so far). I know of etrailer and recpro only. If y’all know anymore please post. My cut out was 27-1/2wX23-1/2h. Thanks again!!!

I can't give you a link to a specific fireplace that will fit that cutout AND meet your financial requirements as well as your preferences for what the flame looks like.... Those are really "personal choices" that only you and the other "fireplace watchers" in your trailer can answer....

That said, there is an extensive list of RV suppliers and RV Parts houses listed on the forum. It's the first or second "sticky" (permanently on top thread) in the Repairs and Maintenance section of the forum. Here's a link to that thread: https://www.keystoneforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=12986 Many people have "bookmarked it" so it's easy to locate when an issue comes up over "where can I find XX?"
