Nope, you won't find a "comfortable" hide a bed in an RV. We have 2 opposing slides (upper living room) with Thomas Payne couches facing each other that fold out to make a bed. If both are "out" the entire living room is one gigantic bed.
In spite of all our best efforts to make those beds more comfortable, NOTHING has worked.
We ended up purchasing a 16 inch thick self-inflating / deflating air mattress and just put it on the floor. It sleeps much, much better than any fold out hide-a-bed. Deflate it and it stows away real nice. Forget about toppers that slide around, egg crate foam rubber toppers, and air mattresses that fit on top of the hide a bed. They are all awful, you still feel the metal bars under you, and you are still uncomfortable. Just get a big fat air mattress from Wall Mart and set it up on the floor.
This way, it's very versatile, and can be used outside the camper also, like in the house, or even outside in a tent!
