Inverter install on a 280CK

I have an 280CK that did not come with an inverter but I see that some of the outlets are marked to support one. I wish to install an inverter to run these outlets. I need to know if this can be done for this trailer if it did not come with an inverter already installed?

Welcome to the forum! It would be beneficial to all if you went to the user CP in the upper left corner and filled in a signature with the year, make and model of your RV and tow vehicle. Folks can answer questions much more easily.

You would need to look at your trailer to know what you have. Solar and an inverter are "optional" equipment for your trailer - read 2nd sentence under "what is solarflex".

Thanks, updated. Our trailer data sheets says "Solar panel prep w/ (5) inverted outlets"

Sounds like you don't have it as "prepped" means it's ready for install vs installed. It lists the components that would be used for the installation if installed and you could do it I'm sure if you have the knowledge to do so. I'm not versed in solar installation as I don't want or need it. Others on the forum are however and hopefully they can chime in if you need assistance.

Correct, I do not have it and the only part I wish to have is the inverter to run the 5 outlets.

Is all the required wiring in place?

That’s probably because the person at Keystone probably has no idea, and most likely told you to contact your dealer. If your tying yo do a DIY install, hopefully a member that has done it will chime in.
