Upper Minnesota Temps in Mid October

We are headed to the very northern part of Minnesota beginning October 4, and coming home mid October. I noticed the state parks turn the water off late September or early October. We are planning on staying in a campground outside of any state parks so I think I can water for the fresh tank.

Freezing temps in Mid October are not usually a problem down here in Indiana, but should I be concerned about the temps on my trip ?

According to the literature my model has enclosed and heated underbelly, but there are a few parts exposed - like the sewer connection and valves, and my hose if I use city water hookup.

Richard, I'm sending you a website with the average/forecast highs and lows for October in Hibbing, Minnesota. I don't personally see any problems for you, although you may want to make sure your water system is up and working in great shape. That way you can simply unhook the water hose for the evening and rely on the water pump.

If you unhook the hose, drain it and bring it inside. Even unhooked, it will freeze overnight.

Thanks all. I will use the fresh water tank and not the city water with my hose. Looking forward to the trip. We will visit Voyageurs National Park, Boundary Waters, and several other sites. We are seeing 80s and 70s here in Indiana, so I'm packing long pants and flannel shirts, along with a good coat.

Not to change the subject, but I'm open to hear any thoughts on what else we should see while we are there.

Really not much to see except the park, used to be able to tour the paper mill, since PCA bought they don't do that anymore. If you like good home cooking eat at Sandy's Place.
There is a small county museum.

I suppose you know about this campground it just opened this year.
