ac fan only runs on low speed

i have a 2018 cougar 327 with 13.5 ac unit. after running fine for 5 days in myrtle beach weather, it will now only run on low speed, either set on auto or high. thermostat temp setting doesnt change fan speed, even when set to 63. Any ideas? this is still under warranty, hoping to avoid dealer if possible. thanks!

Just a long shot, but you may be frozen up, and the fan can't push any more air thru your cooling fins than it already is. This often happens in high humidity, when running fan on high.

Try going to fan only (no cooling) for an hour or two, and see what happens. Or if it's not too hot to stand outside, you'll get quicker results turning it off to defrost. Then try it again.

Let us know if this helps, and Good Luck,

I have a 2018 Cougar 22RBS travel trailer. I have only used it for six days this year so far but ever since the first time I used the a/c it always runs on high fan. I only stay in a campsite for one night because I'm traveling across country so if anything is frozen up it has all day to thaw out.
