Sprinter 298 fifthwheel tire size upgrade
My sprinterfifthwheel came with st 225 / 75 R15 tires. These are D rated tires and on my very first trip on a brand new RV I had a blowout. I want to replace these tires with what comes on other Sprinter RVs that weigh 10,000 pounds plus. What I want to use is a st235 / 80 R16. I have looked under my trailer and I see that my axles are mounted underneath the springs, ie., reversed. I should have plenty room. I just want to know if anyone else has replaced their tires and if you have any problems.
