New member TT novices from Oklahoma

Well we've talked about it for a few years, and now we've finally done it...purchased our first TT...a Bullet 230bhs. We will pick it up on Friday, and I'm both excited and soooo nervous. Having never even been camping, we're looking forward to new adventures and meeting new friends. We would appreciate any recommendations on what we should ask about or check when we pick up our TT this week. Is there a checklist somewhere that we should use to ensure we receive everything that should be included before driving off the lot? Does anyone have any recommendations for websites to view for first timers? Any advice would definitely be appreciated. I love that this forum is available. Everyone seems so friendly and helpful!!

Welcome to the forum lots of great info to be found here using the search. Find a big parking lot to practice turns and backing up.

from South Central OK. Congrats on your new bullet! Here is a checklist one of the great members on the forum put together:
http://www.angelfire.com/trek/buenav...PDI_V113_2.pdf print it off & take it with you when you pick up your trailer. It is also great to take notes during the PDI, I forgot 1/2 of what the tech told us by the time we got home... maybe that's just me though.

Thank you, Kristi! It's not just you...I have my notepad all ready to go for the PDI, but from everything I'm hearing, I'm sure I'll miss quite a bit, too!! I'm not able to pull up the checklist, is there somewhere else I can get it?

Thanks, Kristi. It must be my work computer...I was able to pull it up with no problem at home. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, we've got it printed and ready to use

Congratulations on your new TT. I'm sure you're going to love it. Relax and enjoy the learning experience. It's part of the fun There are several websites available. I find the one listed below the most helpful. They have lots of video demonstrations. Good luck and keep us posted on your travels.

Video the PDI

Probably too late, but might be good for someone else. The guy that did our PDI 3 weeks ago said that many people videoed him going through PDI. My wife did that with iPhone and it helped a lot last week when we went out on first trip.

Welcome to the forum. Everyone here is very helpful. I am sure you will enjoy your 230BH as much as we have. We have had ours for a year now. Camped through October of last year and have made 7 trips so far since March. Enjoy!
