LCI Tongue Jack

Hello-
I have a power tongue jack on the front of my trailer, and the emergency crank on the front of the trailer has a nut that you crank on to lift up and down the jack when there is no power to the jack.

The nut shattered into 3 pieces last night and now I am on the hunt for a new nut.

It looks like a nut with a set screw, but the nut fits over a D shaped shaft.

Any one else have problem?

I called LCI and they said the nut is not sold separately, but I could buy a new jack for over $200

Could you post a picture?

Have you tried going to your local Ace store? Or maybe putting two nuts on it, back to back, and then tightening them together?

Please post a pic. I have 2 of these "high quality" paperweights in my shed. I could mail you the part if one of them has it.

I have a LCI power tongue jack which I think is on its last legs too, I assume you are talking about the nut under the top rubber plug, I found mine today when mine just quit, the It started again, looks like a new one will be needed soon too, probly a barker.
