If you go with the Goodyear tires 60psi will give you 10k of carrying capacity. 65psi will give you lots of bounce and 9520 pounds capacity. I have never gone below 60psi as the trailer does not behave as well in my experiments. The attached chart is from Goodyear as the tires do not need to be at max psi to carry loads unlike lots of ST tires that come on trailers.

In the "for-what-its-worth" category, I have a 60" cargo rack with a 47" cargo box (see pics). The rack and box weigh-in around 90 lbs. or so. I mostly carry lighter, bulky stuff, like patio mats, 50 amp power cord, leaf blower, power cords, tools, etc. I weigh the items with a hand-held fish scale so I have a fairly accurate idea of how much I'm carrying. Currently, I'm Gulf Shores Alabama and carried roughly 175 lbs. for our winter retreat.

I've supported the 2" receiver with a hitch anti-rattle thingy that seems to tighten the connection with the receiver bar. I've also supported each corner with tie-down ratchets in a crisscross configuration that helps reduce the bounce. I used soft-ties on each end of the receiver welds on the frame.

This configuration seems to be working.

I really wish the sideways picture thing wouldn't happen, it's hard on the neck I'll be honest, I thought I tied down the bikes well but they will get thrown up and down back there...I didn't loose them, but I had one wheel off the rack when we arrived It's mostly common sense as usual...don't tie down anything back there you could loose

Use buckle type short straps and strap bottom on bike wheels to bike rack= no bike wheel/rack movement.

Yes thanks, at first I used two ratchet type straps around the bikes, one to the post and and one to the floor but they came loose with the movement I guess...since then I use the straps and bungee cord down both front and rear wheels to the floor and it hasn't happened again.
