Water spots!

Our 2020 PR24RK has a black and dark gray nose.
Water spots are an constant issue every time I wash the camper.
I wash it with soft water. This time, I filled a pump up sprayer with distilled water and rinsed it after spraying it with the hose to get the soap off.
I still have spots, but not quite as bad.
How do the traveling RV wash guys eliminate water spots?

The ones we use use towels. I've tried softwater (water softener sitting in the barn now unused), all kinds of soaps/washes, rinses, spotless rinses etc. - I get spots. What I do now (if I'm not going to do a full blown wax job) is wash it then spray on Aerocosmetics Wash Wax All and wipe it off. Easy, interim wax job and looks really good.

It's the minerals in the water that cling to the painted surface and as the water dries, only the minerals (spots) are left on the surface.

Most car washes use deionized (mineral free) water in their "final spot free rinse". Then they blow the water off the car with a high speed blower. Even with deionized water, what's left on the car will "spot if it dries before you drive away"... The alternative is a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth.

You might try using a leaf blower to dry the front cap on your trailer after the final rinse or as others have suggested, dry thoroughly with a towel.

On my Slingshot and Tbird, I use an old (now hard to find) chamois and follow that with a microfiber towel that NEVER sees a washing machine or dryer...

I try to wash right before a rain or in the rain. If no rain I will try shade or clouds and let the water “sheet” off trailer to not leave droplets. Fresh wax job or not I still get them.

Man, I wish we could do that here. If/when it rains here you have to wash everything afterward because every drop is full of sand. Don't get me wrong, the rain is nice and it smells good (like fresh dirt) but I miss "clean" rains.
