Cougar City Water Connection.
2019 Keystone Cougar 29rld.
Inside the Docking Station the is a short black plastic pipe threaded on both ends that attaches from the inlet hose to a pivoting connection that goes into trailer.
Anyone have an idea of what this part is called.
I can not find it on line.
Thank you in advance for any help.

It almost sounds like the hose for winterizing the coach. Can you post a picture of it including where it’s connected? What’s wrong with it?

Would be nice if you went up to the User CP and added a signature with the camper year make and model and same for your tow vehicle. A picture is worth a 1000 words in a case like this as well.

Cougar City Water Connection.
Sorry bad internet here.
I am regested.
2019 Keystone Cougar 29rld.
Inside the Docking Station there is the City Water Connection. There is a Black colored Pipe inside that is about 3 inches long and is theared on both ends. I am trying to fine what that Black Plastic Pipe is called.
The City Water hose connects to one end and the other end connects to a moveable piece that can be side to side and up and down.
The short pipe is leaking at the hose connection.
I have replaced the screened washer on the City Water Connection to that Black Plastic Pipe.
It still leaks.
Than you again for any help.

Can't tell you what the black water hose is but you may want to buy some teflon tape and give your city water feed hose thread a few wraps. I have done this in the past when I had drips from the hose to city water connection.

Thank you. I did try that before supper so far so good. This just looks like a part that spare would be prudent.
Thank you again.

With that picture I know what your talking about. I think I have the same fitting, but I’m not sure what the name of it is. Give me a couple days to look for it in our RV parts book.

If you disconnect the hose and push the piece that it threads into back you might find a small o ring that you can replace

Hey all, I have this exact same part on a Cougar RBS I just bought and it leaks terribly. How are you supposed to disassemble this to replace gaskets? I can't seem to find a wrench that fits it...does it require a special tool?

Ditto
Have the same issue on our '16 24SABWE.
Replaced the hose end collar gasket, but belive my the part has a small crack.
Other than buying a replacement city filler and pulling the part out for my fill station, i have not found the part on its own.

Seems to be a constant unsolved issue.
If anyone can successfully extract the part from the convenience center and put it on a bland background to take a photo of it, we might be able to use images.google.com to find someone selling it online.

Based on the photo supplied by mpellet 2 years ago, I think this is what he was searching for https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094FYKQ4G...NsaWNrPXRydWU=
What I saw in the photo was one of these adapters threaded into the factory fitting which is almost flush mounted in the compartment. Who knows, I might even be right

I managed to disassemble mine. Found that the leak was caused because the O ring was broken.
Replaced and all us well again. Still, cheap crap plastic. Would like to replace with a brass fitting.

There are at least two different ideas of what the problem is that we are trying to solve.
I think the problem was the cheap extension that went from the factory fitting to the actual garden hose. That's what I posted from Amazon.
Others think that the problem was the actual connection between the water tank supply line and the garden hose. That seems to be what you posted from Amazon.
Hopefully between the two different solutions, all the problems of the world can be solved

The forst looks to be what i have. The etrailer cersion looks better built, but will it retro fit?
Agreed that ideally the brass to replace would be favorable.
All is right with the world...for now ;-)

That piece from Amazon looks a lot like the short hose piece that comes with some Camco water filters. I have several sitting in my parts box in my pass through. Most all leak and I use a regular short hose.
