How it should be

Kudos to Outdoors RV. Picked up a 280RKS Anniversary Edition in Washington. Raining hard during PDI and trip back. Stopped halfway to Boise for the night and front jack wouldn't work. Got up in the morning and headed for home as my wife has to work tomorrow and no time to go back to dealer. Wife called ORV and talked to Kevin and explained the issue and told him we were heading from Washington to Boise. He said to swing by the factory in Legrand Oregon and they would make it right. Pulled in at 3 on Friday afternoon. Quickly had 4 and 5 people working on it. All stayed about 30 minutes after their scheduled time off on
a Friday till all was perfect. Best service ever!!!

Loved our Keystone Cougar but hated trying to get things fixed. Love having a manufacturer stand behind their product not only with words but action!!!

That is a nice camper! You might want to take a sec and put your camper year, make and model as well as the same for your tow vehicle in your signature. Under the CP tab on every page.

Uh, one note of serious caution. It looks like you have the front stabilizers holding all the weight of the front of the camper (tongue jack is floating). Unless those front stabilizers are designed to hold all that weight, you’re about to have bigger problems than you had before. Put that tongue jack down and let it take the weight. Stabilizers are only designed to “stabilize” the front, not take 100% of the front weight. They will collapse. Again, unless those are different than what I think I see there. Looks like Lippert (LCI) power stabilizers with the yellow braces. Otherwise, that is a beautiful trailer you have there.

It's LCI TT level up. Auto leveling. The first thing it does it drop the front jacks till grounded then lifts hitch jack then brings rear down till level. So front hitch is always off ground by design.

At about the 2 minute mark of the following video you can see it is as designed.

Ah! And that’s why I said what I said. I’ve never see that system in use before. Whew! Man, I was worried about those things collapsing. It looked so strange with the tongue jack just dangling there. (And I thought to myself, “no one else here has noticed this?!”) Thanks for educating me on that level up system.

I thought the only Keystone factory in Oregon was in Pendelton. There where several RV companies in La Grande that closed their doors, wonder if Keystone is now building there also. Arctic Fox was only one for awhile.

Not a Keystone. My trailer is made by Outdoor RV https://outdoorsrvmfg.com/.

Had a Keystone until 2 weeks ago. Could not get help from the factory even though I drove by it in Pendleton many times. Why I was so blown away when the Outdoors RV said stop by and we will make it right. They also authorize travel techs to do warranty work.

Outdoor RV and Northwoods are based out of Le Grande Oregon.
