Propane Tank Switch Over

Congrats on your new purchase. Have 2011 HC-291-RLS, love it. Only issue we have had was the propane regulator went bad a couple weeks ago. Repaced it, now we're off and running again.
Happy Travels/Camping.

I am glad you brought that up. If one tank runs out will it switch automatically to the other one? Also do they have a gauge or something to show how much propane is in each tank? This will most likely come up at the PDI, but I was just curious.

Yes, the system will automatically switch (if you have an auto change over regulator) providing both bottles are open. I have a magnetic indicater that attaches to the side of each tank to indicate level but have never relied on them much. I keep an eye on the regulator and when it switches I flip the lever over and within a day or so refill the empty one. Happy Campin.
