Couch replacement

We have a 2012 Laredo 321BH fifth wheel. We’re thinking of replacing jack knife couch with recliners. I read a few warnings that there was something on the couch that was part of the slide. Can anyone advise?

Welcome to the forum

There isn’t any part on the couch that is part of the slide structure. The base may be attached and removing it may reveal some screw holes to deal with.

On an RV piece of furniture, like your couch, pull it out as it likely will not be attached. The backs slide out and off so it can go out the door. We have a LazyBoy love seat recliner in our camper and they also have backs that slide out. Our two recliners at the house have backs that slide out of the frame. Easy switch out.

Our old 5ver's Sofa was screwed down too. It along with the two swivel recliners were that bonded leather crap started to peel shortly after the warranty expired. We got two sets of wall hugger reclining love seats with center storage compartments from RecPro they were still fine after 5+ years when we traded it in.
