Can I plug in the camper w/out the battery?

This is probably a dumb question however I've never thought about it before. I need to pump some antifreeze into my black tank flush and saw the comment about using the outdoor shower to do it. Great idea, however I've already pulled the battery. I can just as easily put it back in. However if I can just plug it in to power the pump then why bother. Just curious...

Yes,
I have my Battery removed and keep it plugged in all winter. I have some of the Ultrasonic Mouse repelants plugged in while its closed up for the winter.

I went without a battery for 6 years and everything worked fine, once plugged into shore power that is.

The only requirement that I am aware of is that Keystone says not to operate the slides without having a battery hooked up. I would suppose that is to provide a buffer so that the heavy current draw for the slide is not directly on the converter. Other than that, you don't need a battery to supply 12V to the trailer. That's what a converter does.

Can't say about your Keystone but my 2003 Thor warned that connecting shore power with battery removed could damage fridge and water heater control boards. Me, I would not risk it.
