First off, the ceiling trim and vent garnish rings have nothing to do with water penetration. The ceiling could be completely removed and the coach should be considered water tight.
Any water intrusion begins from failure of the roof sealant, a break in the roof membrane, or a crack/break in a roof top structure (ie vent cover, skylight, ac shroud, antenna base). It can also be from a window seal for various reasons.
The roof seem at the front cap and marker lights are notorious for sealant failures. Anywhere the roof membrane is penetrated is also suspicious for sealant failures.
Since you coach is already dropped off, you wont be able to do a normal roof inspection, that should occur at regular intervals throughout the year. The dealer will do this inspection and most likely find the area of intrusion. Hopefully it will be any easy fix without any significant water damage.
