Remove the knobs, and then take off the filters. You should find square head screws holding the cover onto the plenum.

Re: A/C inside cover removal

Pulled the filters and no screws. Finally found them located in 4 of the numerous holes in the cover. Just had to lay directly underneath to see them. Just as I thought, after i pulled the cover off i found the installer didn't properly install the small duct inside. it had pulled half off and was directing a good portion of the air into the roof cavity.

Re: A/C inside cover removal

Glad you got it. Sorry for wrong info, haven't pulled one of those in quite a while, but I knew there had to be screws holding it. Was there plugs covering the screw holes?

Re: A/C inside cover removal

No plugs, just had to look directly up to see them. No worries on the info, I've learned over the years manufaturers change things often and many times during the same model run. Thanks again...
