What type, if any, do you bring?

Pets that is.........

We have a 17 year old doggie, mostly mutt, that we bring along. Although she's not doing so well these days.

We have always brought along a dog. A big one. Over the years we have brought along several different varieties. Currently, we have an almost 7 year old Golden Retriever. One with "attitude" I might add.
I don't want to start something here but I can blame this one on my wife who says...."If it doesn't weigh at least 25 pounds, it really isn't a dog." And, as I always do, I totally agree with her. Richard

We always travel with our "wonder dog" Lilly and our four pound 13 year old cat, Lydia. Lydia is a pure indoor cat (she would not last at 4 pounds in the outside world). Both are great travelers and have been on the road with us since they were very young.

Doggie tag a long

We can't go anywhere in the camper without "Bo" our long hair chiwawa. He's a total Chick Magnet. Yep, they the ladies can't pass him by.

Our 12 year old beagle, Mickey, loves camping and has travelled all over the east coast with us. He's on the chubby side, now, at 30lbs - guess he qualifies as a "real dog" by Richard's wife's standards.

Two of our dogs together weigh 25lbs does that count? We have six dogs we take camping, Missy, Dusty, Sassy, Jasmine, MoJo and Scooter. Pom-Bosten Terrior mix, Pom, Pom, Pom, Poodle, and a Yorkie Poo.

Yes ftwildernessguy, Mickey meets my wife's criteria and is a "bone-a-fide" dog - providing he remains chubby and his weight stays above 25 lbs. Keep up with the treats.
Sorry grumpy, you can't combine weights of two dogs but she likes the names of these two........"MoJo and Scooter". (The truck and 5th look great when hooked up!)

I don't know ...... but ....it sounds to me like a Disney story under witness protection. Sorry, Grumpy but I couldn't help myself.

We take our 11 year old Cocker (Lady) with us. She loves to travel and is really a good dog. She has one problem and that is she doesn't like to be left alone.

Travel with 2

I have two Belgian Tevurens. One is 88 lbs and the other 92 lbs. We've never had a problem camping, but now I see some campgrounds/parks are placing a weight limit on the dogs. Both are very docile dogs. What next...a weight limit on the owners?

We have two "mid-sized" little buddies we take on every trip. Max, 14 year old Yorkie-Poo (the old man) and Milo, 5 year old Schnoodle. They love to go camping with us.

We have a Black Lab/Pitt mix. He's all black and looks mostly like a lab. He goes with us every time we camp. He is two years old. On Fridays when we get home and start throwing things out the front door in the direction of the truck to load up, Harley {the dog} gets his toy in his mouth and knows where we are going.

I don't like dogs, so I'm planning to bring my cat instead.
I'm a feline lover and cats are easier to 'tame' during vacations. Hopefully, my cat won't run away.

4 cats. 3 Tabbies and 1 Tuxedo. All are indoor cats but one in particular loves to escape. He then sits under the camper just out of reach and just looks at you. Smug little twerp!
