Refrigerator goes out
Refer will not get cold..Over 12 hours and still warm, matter of fact blowing hot air. Didn't matter if hooked to electric OR propane...Had to bring ice chest on week long camping trip. Had it level, had a heat source and had ventilation. Must be cooling unit right? Got it in for service and now they called and said it was working for them every way they started it up....Eerrrrr

Our frig freezer compartment gets down to zero within 3 hours of turning it on.
Here's a video that will explain a way for an owner to self check the frig out to see if it's the control box or the heating element.
It's about 12 minutes long.
Grab a coffee and sit back
Happy trails,

Hot air blowing from within the unit when I opened the door. Funny thing was that on the last day of dry camoing, the fridge turned off. I didn't pay it no mind since I was returning home and I WAS NOT out of propane..We went to storage and turned on propane and started fridge no problem. Went back 8 hours later and fridge was again off and blowing hot air. Took home, hooked up to electric and overnight. Next morning still HOT. Could hear the fan blowing but no cold. Was level, had ventilation and had a heat sourse too.

What kind of fridge do you have???? If a Dometic there should be no air blowing inside the fridge. Are there any warning lights lit on the control panel?
I have no experience with Norcold or the new Atwoods if you have one of them maybe someone else will chime in.

It is a Dometic. Perhaps the air blowing was excessive heat emitting since it had been in storage. But that night, it seemed as though it cooled off but the next morning, still very warm. Apparently it is working at the dealer so they cannot diagnosis something that is working..frustration because I will be dry camping for a week shortly. Better pack them ice chests!
