I bought one off Amazon cheaper than I could buy all the parts to make one. Next mod for me is to hang e a metal box adjacent the extra sewer hose to house the Y connector for 2 hoses.

I'm a plumber, and it was still cheaper to buy the premade camco hose holder.

Let me know what you use for that. I’ve been thinking of doing the same.

Far better is the 5" vinyl fence post, as the elbows will also fit in the post, all in one!

This is what I did. 5" vinyl fence post (8' long then cut to length needed) and then a piece of 4" vinyl gutter. The gutter will hold the sewer hose and you can then slide the entire thing in and out. Fence post end caps on both ends....I pop riveted the curbside end cap on, then added some hasps and locks on the business end.

I had plans to order one a few years back til I read the weight rating, I've been too heavy, by about 50lbs, since I was about 25 years old. Never bothered to investigate if they offered the big boy version.

Heck with the ladder, I'm looking at the carport. LOL. What are your thoughts? How tall did you go? I'm thinking 24 X 50 with 14ft legs. Vertical roof siding. Set it on 24" X 50ft concrete runners. Store the 5th, the Bigfoot cabover, the john boat, and the utility trailer.

If you're "calculating 24x50, build 32x50 or better yet, 32x72 or even 40x80...

Your list didn't include "shade for the lawn mower, a place to put the garbage cans, the hose reel or the smoker, when you need the garage (where they usually live) to park the truck.....

You can NEVER have too much covered storage BTDT and considering a 32x12 lean-to on the back of the pole barn and extending the front 20' further toward the road..... Keep in mind that I've got a 36x40 and a 32x36 building and don't have enough storage to park two cars in our 3 car garage without moving something outside for the winter or stacking it up on top of something else......

LOL....I have no idea about the "big boy" version. The one that I listed is rated up to 225, and over the last year I've gone from about 203/204 down to 184/185 lbs....so I'm well within range of that one.

I had to go less width than I really wanted to. My shelter is adjacent to my detached garage and the gravel road and easement kind of have me blocked in. The present one is 46' long by 13' wide by 13' leg height. My trailer is right at 44' long from the tip of the nose to the rear of the trailer, 101" wide, and 13'6" height. It just fits into the shelter and I painted a Red line on the concrete to be able to line up the outside edge of the trailer tires with when I back it in. I have less than a foot between the base of the shelter and the road easement, so I absolutely couldn't go any wider. Here are a few pics.
