Dehumidifier

Does anyone run a dehumidifer in their camper when it's parked at home?

Hi,... Being that I live up here in the Great North-Wet, .... "yes" I run a dehumidifier year round. This is what I do:

Since I didn't want the Inverter powered all year long also, I added a 15A breaker in the breaker panel that powers just all of the AC receptacles in the RV. I then bought a cheap mechanical timer and a small dehumidifier.

I have the timer/dehumidifier set to run 3 hours a day/ 7 days a week. I am fortunate that I park my RV at my house in covered storage. I usually empty the water out of the dehumidifier x2 a week.

Take care,
