Smile Several "Firsts"

Over the last 20 years, my wife and I have slowly migrated from a popup, to a 20' travel trailer, and now to a Fifth Wheel. In June we purchased a 2020 Montana High Country 330RL and 2016 Silverado 3500HD with the Duramax Diesel.

Learning to drive and pull such a "beast" has been a challenge as well as dealing with a lot of "new vehicle" problems.

But with the COVID-19 lockdowns, having the ability to get away yet stay "isolated" for a few weeks has been great.

And thanks to the forums for helping this morning with the hot water heater issue after we ran out of propane yesterday.

And this is your first post on this forum. Welcome aboard! Glad you're here. The 330RL is a very nice floor plan. Drive safely and enjoy!

Welcome and congrats on your most recent purchases, and hope you have many happy and safe travels.

Just an FYI, there is another forum specifically for Montana owners. If you have not poked around there yet, it will be worth your time and effort. Everything there is directed toward Montana campers only. Lots of discussion about things unique to Montana's. Click here.

I am a member of 4 forum groups. One I quit using, which was my first one for a long, long time. (Thus my user name, and my first travel trailer ... a Dutchmen Sport) That site was generic for any RV or camping related topic.

When I purchased my first Keystone Trailer (Springdale), I joined this forum group as it had lots of info on Keystone specific topics, plus additional general topics.

Then I got my Keystone Outback and I stayed on this forum, although did not actively post here. I signed up for the Outbackers forum, specific for Keystone Outbacks. Still, did not post much there either, as the first one was still my primary go to forum.

Then came the Montana High Country and I switched over to the Montana Owners club. By now, the original forum I loved so much went "South" and the Montana site became my primary Go To for specifics for my Montana. And my interest in this forum picked up considerably as topics here are more general camping and Keystone products (in general) related.

So, there you have it! If you haven't done so already, enjoy this site and the Montana Owners Club forums. Between the two, there's some really good stuff here! Someone is always able to answer questions.

Happy Camping!

Greetings and welcome to the forum!

We, too, graduated from a tent, to a truck camper, then a travel trailer to arrive at our present RV, an Alpine 5er.

Congrats on the new setup and have fun!
