Tow vehicle

Picking up a 2014 passport 3220BH. My question is I was told I can pull safely with my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with hemi and tow package. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This will be placed at a private campground.

It will pull it but depending on your rear end ratio it may or may not be over your max ratings. Either way it isn't going to like it on any type of hills and a WD hitch is a must.

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
Your loaded weight would be 7500#. The Ram would be working very hard. Check the tow rating. Go on Trailerlife.com for limits.

What is your rear end axle ratio? With the right axle ratio you should be good good to go from what I can find....the 5.7 will "wind" on hilly roads.
