Hitch and ball height?

I'm looking for the height I should have the hitch ball for a 2014 Springdale 311REGL. Is this listed anyplace online? Or will I just have to measure off the trailer?

Unless you find someone who has one and has already measured it you will have to measure the trailer.. Make sure its level before measuring..

I may be wrong, but I believe the standard with today's rv trailers is near 17.5".

We seem to be setting them at 21-22 inches these days.

My Passport was 22" but with all these lightweight trailer and small tires who knows what the next one would be.

Most RV transport companies require their drivers to have a WD hitch set at 19-21". They do it for a living, must be a reason for that.

It will be different trailer to to trailer but most likely the same or close with the same brand. If a trailer has 2 steps vs 3 it will be different. Also my Premier sits higher than my friends Outback.

Our Passport Elite 23RB with 15 inch tires is 24 inches.

A trick I learned when picking up the trailer at the dealer was that the tech measured the height to the bottom of the frame between the axles. That way the trailer did not have to be level or on level ground to get an accurate measurement. Note that the top of the coupler is at the same level as the bottom of the frame between the axles on our trailer.
