Camping world of Madison Wisconsin, is ware we purchased our 5th wheel from in july 2012 the deal we recieved was great as far as trade in and price

But they sold it without going thru it, we made a list of defects and numerous emails and calls, and set up appointments for them to come to our campground ware we were staying for the summer, lets just say dates were made for service but parts or other reasons came up, they did finally come to repair things but again parts or other resones, we finally had a hart to hart with the service manager and many emails the nice thing about emails are there proof of the conversation, theres no he said she said. so the mannager was apologetic the whole time. and in fall we droped of the trailer and he assures us everything will be taken care of and there future sales will not be to sell more then they can repair, or let it go with the customer before everything has ben gone thru. again its a good thing we are patient people we were also lucky that the repairs we needed did not stop us from useing the rv. I think there big problume is selling more then they can keep up with trying to fix, and the customers suffer. i would also say in camping worlds defense that in my case it was a issue that keystone's factory should have caught they built it and sent it out that way so start at the top simple fix really its called careing about what you make, and again the service manager at camping world of Madison Wi is a good guy his name is Jonathan.

Keystone and Camping World Named Number ONE

I just got the January 2013 issue of Trailer Life. In it they published their 2012 Reader's Choice Awards for 25 RV related categories.

Interestingly, Keystone was #1 for fifth wheels but not even in the top 3 for travel trailers.

Camping World was #1 for RV Retailers followed by Local dealers then WalMart.

Tires, it was Goodyear, Michelin and then Maxxis.

Truck, it was Ford, Chevrolet then Ram (not suprising when you consider that is also the popularity by numbers purchased)

Oil, Shell Rotella, Amsoil and Mobile 1

Fifth Wheel Hitch, Reese, B&W, PullRite

TT Hitch, Equalizer, Torklift, Reese

Fuel Station, Pilot/FlyingJ, Loves

I believe that Trailer Life is part of the Affinity Group which also owns Good Sam and Camping World. It seems that Stephen Adams owns 97% of this corporation - including Trailer Life.

Keystone, on the other hand, is owned by a different corporation - Thor Industries - and really doesn't have any editorial or other control over Trailer Life or the articles that appear in it - including this survey.
