low water valves

I have a 2019 Hideout and nobody including factory know th location of low water valves . They are suppose to be visible underneath trailer but No Red or Blue lines protrude out bottom cover. Maybe not installed? Does anybody know the location of these lines? Maybe factory did not expose them. I need to winterize my trailer.

Welcome to the forum

They are there somewhere, maybe covered in foam. I have seen the valves inside a cabinet and just the tip of the pex line sticking out.

Welcome to the forum. Hideout is like saying you own a Chevy, it's a model line not a specific model. If you go to the top of the page and click on "UserCP" you can create a signature that will appear in every post. Include the make, model (full model with all letters and numbers) and the year of the trailer and your tow vehichle. The answers to your questions will be more relevant and folks won't have to ask for the info each time.

As for your low point drains you'll need to get under the trailer and look from end to end, even look up close to and over the axles. If you post a model number someone with the same model number may chime in and let you know where theirs is located.

Have you looked on the outside of the frame? Underneath the floor?

Didn’t see anything unless behind insulation.

Ok, so I’ll admit I don’t know your specific model, have you used a flashlight and laid on a creeper, looking at basically every square inch of the underside? Front to back and side to side. look in the corners.

Unless it is marked on underbelly cover and not exposed. I will look again. The factory techs couldn’t even give me an answer. They have NO schematic fir location of low water valves. One tech even said it was designed out and the fresh water walve was enough??

I will just have to winterize without them. I guess if there is any water left the RV antifreeze will neutralize it.

Make sure you have looked the entire bottom over closely, with a flashlight if you have to. Look for a blob of spray foam in the bottom that seems out of place. They may have sprayed enough for it to expand over the ends of the drains if they left them real short.

Don't know where you are in AZ; there are high cold places and desert areas as well. If you don't find them and just pour antifreeze in you may or may not get enough into those lower drain lines. If you live in really cold country ie; Pine Top, ShowLow etc. those lower lines could freeze solid somewhere inside and really cause you some issues next year. I would be for finding them. If you don't be sure and at least blow the lines out as good as you possibly can.

I don't have your model of Hideout, but on mine (202 LHS) the low point drains are on the driver side, just in front of the dump valve and up under the skirting. They are hard to find unless you are on your knees looking up underneath. Good Luck!

If it were mine, I'd lay on my back beneath the back of the trailer below the water heater and outdoor shower... then look up and see if I could see a blob of foam...

Generally speaking it'll be there or somewhere close to under the galley sink...

Please don't get confused that the low point drains will be red or blue...

I've seen lots of them white or clear.. Some have caps screwed on and some have valves.. Some even have toggles and are accessed from inside a compartment or under a cabinet or even the bed..

If you find a black, gray or brown blob of spray foam insulation, you'll usually find them...

I have a 2019 26RLS. Standing inside the camper looking forward towards the tongue on right side, my drains are approx. 8" below the floor on the outside of the right rail, of course inside the exterior siding/skirt. They are about 20" in front of the forward right side tire. blue and red pex with twist valves/caps. Hope it helps?

Standing at the hitch our low water drain lines are on the left behind the second wheel on our 38' hideout.

I was moving unit and as I retracted jacks I noticed the low water lines. I could not believe it. I searched every inch of the undercarriage but never looked outside the frame up close to skirts. For future reference the low water lines on the keystone hideout model number 29DF are as follows. Standing in front of tongue on right side of unit at rear of unit they are about 10” in from rear bumper. Thanks everyone for your input on this challenge.
