Silly question...Can I plug our Cougar 284RDB into 50 amp

We are in a spot, a fairgrounds, that has only 15a and 50 service. Should we relocation to a 30a spot...

You can get a adapter to go from a 50 amp to a 30 amp

Or a place that sells Rv parts

Yes you can do it but you do have to have that adapter to go from 50 amp to 30 amp. Your plug won't even fit without the adapter.

Always something needed... We hook up to 50 with an adapter whenever it is available. Usually less used than the 30 amp.

msubobcats, Howdy;

Been livin' in a site with 50 and an adapter or over a year now.
I keep the joint between the adapter wrapped with electrical tape
to keep moisture out.
