Awning arms not attached

We just got back from a week long trip and noticed the channel for the awning arms were bouncing about 1/2" to 3/4" off the sidewall of our Cougar 22RBSWE while travelling. I checked it during a gas stop and it wasn't bolted on it was glued on with caulking or some sort of adhesive. It didn't affect the function of the awning when we arrived but is a concern. Its headed to the dealer for another issue so I'll see what they say.
