Handiest use I found so far for a cell camera was determining the model number of my Dometic HVAC gateway box, which is installed inside the A/C cavity, but the label is located on the top side of the box where it is entirely hidden. Using the front-facing camera, you can even preview what you're pointed at and how well it's in focus.
I've gotten to the point where I now routinely reach for my phone when I need a level, compass, or even a rough yardstick in the RV, because it does all those things. (Haven't used the stud finder function yet.)
