On a lighter note....... I really thought this thread was a joke until I saw a couple with pink hair at a Flying J the other day. They must have showered together to save water.

OP just needs advice on how to best keep pipes from freezing

OP just needs advice on how to best keep pipes from freezing when using the RV in freezing weather which is what led me to this thread. Does anyone have good advice for using the RV when in freezing weather? If I can't find the solution I may use the diluted pink stuff to brush teeth, wash, and wash dishes but not drink.

"RV antifreeze is usually a mixture of ethanol and propylene glycol, and can be considered toxic if you drink it straight. It's also toxic to animals, so be careful of letting it puddle where the dog or cat can lap it up. If you flush the system properly, any trace amounts left are considered non-toxic."
I would simply NOT wash anything with RV antifreeze, including dishes, my body, and my teeth.

RV antifreeze is also flammable…….so that would be a hard NO for me. Get a few jugs of bottled water.
