I’m a probation and parole officer (PnP) and my badge number is 841. Pretty much has been my go to for names. Agency abbreviation and badge number. I’ve had a few over the past 20+ years. Lol

Yes -- mine was originally lhaven, but too many people were trying to PM me with a capital I instead of a lower-case L, so I had the name changed by an admin. It stands for Liberty Haven Ranch.

I played trumpet in High School about the time the television show F Troop was on. The bugler on the show was named Dobbs. My first name is Rob. Rob to Dobbs was a natural transition. It was a nickname I picked up back then.

Mine's a Play on words. People mix up Bouy and Buoy. Here's the definitions:
As nouns the difference between buoy and bouy is that buoy is (nautical) a float moored in water to mark a location, warn of danger, or indicate a navigational channel while bouy is . As a verb buoy is to keep afloat or aloft; used with up .
When I passed my test for a private pilot license I had the boat name "Flybouy" painted on the transom with a nautical buoy with wings attached next to it. That was back in the early 1980's and no one ever said anything to me about the spelling. I figured all the folks at the marina either didn't know the difference or didn't care to point it out.

These threads appear every so often, and I think I have explained my name here in the past.
Spade was a nickname from graffiti/tagging days (I am much younger than most here), and then when the internets started and I was creating an email address, the 117 was the lowest available number after spade that was offered up, and now it is my username on almost everything internet related.

Had a Blue Gourami fish as a kid named Cain. He would come to the top of the tank to be petted. Got into CB radios, needed a handle.Hence 'Crazy Cain".. Got a 1974 Ford Van, customized it and called it 'Crazy Cain"...Yes, that is Lady Godiva on the side..
As for Email, had a Cockatiel named Chewie, chewed the Heck out of everything he could get his Beak on..Hence the Email name.
Resurrected CrazyCain for this forum!!!!
Click the picture to see it normal....

Back in the 60's I loved to hunt and my favorite was hunting Javelina with a recurve bow... I killed a lot of them and often wore a necklace of the larger tusks. Some of the old men that hung around the archery/gun shop got to calling me "That Javelina Kid" and over the years it got shortened to Javi..
Don't hunt anymore, but the name stuck..

Did they cut your tie off after your check flight? I have a student pilots license, hot air balloon. Been years since I logged any burner time. License since expired, balloon was retired before I could finish the lessons, cost of everything got in the way.

Not the tie, the shirt tail.
After I returned to the FBO after passing the flight exam. I learned at Martin State Airport and the choice for FAA Flight Examiners was either BWI airport or Fredrick, MD municipal. To fly into BWI I would have to pay my instructor to go with me and pay to land. Frederick was free so off to Frederick I went.
The FAA Flight Examiner was a short (about 4'2") woman that had to use a 6" cushion to see out over the engine cover. After the test we went to her office and signed me off. Looking out the window I could see darkening sky coming over the mountains. Thinking that she had seen the latest NOTAMs I asked her if she thought I could make it back to Martin's before the weather closed in. She, without hesitation said, "I don't know, your a F---ing pilot now", stood up and left the room. I didn't need to have my shirt tail cut off to know I was on my own.

As for me, I'm a reenactor (historical) and I started with Renaissance era. Since my persona is a noblewoman, I was a Lady at the Faire. Hence, Lady Faire. Still do reenacting - everything from Renaissance to WWII. Since I'm a Southron, the CivWar bit is easy - had the accent from crawling age, although now I have to WANT to bring it out. But, Sugar, Ah'm a true (aged) Southron Belle and mah tongue just DRIPS honey! And if I don't like you, I can - in true southern fashion - "polite you to death"!
