Backed into some junk in the lot
sick about it. all my fault I own it . I called 6 Rv shops and got estimates of 800-2000 dollars for repair. And no promis they can match the siding. I thought my front has diamond aluminum plate. I looked up a supplier and found one that has a 48x96 inch plate got 150.00 bucks. not bad, now I got to find someone to do the job. Wife don’t want me to do it. Keep you up dated and I will post a picture of job completed.

I like the diamond plate idea. Anyone following too close will get a face full of reflected light. No more worries about tailgaters

It can be a DIY project. Those panels are put on from the top down so you just remove them from the bottom up. Pneumatic stapler is your friend. I am currently employed at an RV/auto collision shop.

That’s what I am looking for. A RV /auto body shop. No one here in Novato area. Looking up in Sonoma or Solano. But not Camping World.

Pretty much any sheet metal shop could fix you right up with aluminum diamond plate and even bend it to fit.
I know we could while we were a job shop and not dedicated to our own products as we are now.

If your going to use diamond plate, with labor being about $150.00/hr I’m thinking 2-3 hrs. Total time to remove, install and seal.

this might be a janky way to fix it but someone mentioned on here about bedliner for the front cap of a trailer…what about removing the siding that’s damaged and trying to straighten within reason what you can for now..coat it with a white bedliner and then eventually you could either replace when the siding is available or cover everything with diamond plate

If your ordering a sheet of diamond plate, it may be a bit of work to cut out for the water heater. How thick are you thinking?
