Wonder if this is an Adequate Tow Vehicle for a Cougar Half Ton ?

I just saw this truck in a "for sale" link my DW sent me. My immediate thought was, "I wonder if the GVW and GCWR are big enough for Keystone's Half Ton series ????

It's not for me, but if it's valid, the price of $37,000 seems to be outstanding and with less than 14,000 miles, it's not even "broke in yet"...

Only you can put air bags , Rancho shocks, and up the tire rating!

For once, the phrase "I hardly know the trailer is back there" could actually be TRUE!

Man, I am almost tempted to buy that thing just because....if it was real and I knew what the catch was. I've never looked inside a Freightliner engine compartment but I have been inside countless others for various reasons; does that closeup of the engine look like there is paint/overspray to indicate something has been going on in there or am I just "seeing things" as I look a gift horse in the mouth??

"If a DW sends a truck for sale link to a DH, it is the DH's lawful right to purchase said truck from said link without further approval from aforementioned DW." I think that's in the constitution someplace, could be wrong.

Worked on a lot of these (not this particular series) in the old days and never saw hoses painted. Ad doesn't say rebuilt engine. JMO

Not a right, a duty!

When we were boaters we came back in one weekend and the marina had a new 30' Searay on the line. I was complaining about our older 25 footer being "inadequate". We were looking at it and the DW said those famous words "If you like it I think you should by it." Two hours later I was signing papers.

Here's your sign!
When I was selling a boat I was warned about those who offered to buy it, full price cash without even seeing the boat. There were a few of those in the mix of potential buyers. This looks to be the same "genre" of scam with that statement above. Maybe not, but?
Like they say, if it's too good to be true.........

The price on the tractor is in line, but I'm staying clear of the hauler. Tell me, however, how many of us out here wouldn't love to have that parked in the drive....

If you use it as a "grocery getter" you might want to consider WalMarts curb side delivery!

I don't know what they run for MPG but no reason it shouldn't get 9 towing a 15K 5th wheel.

I have a good friend on another forum who pulls with a Freightliner Sport Chassis (a bit older than the one in the link). He pulls a Sunnybrook Titan. He explains a bit about his truck:

I inquired where the truck was located.
Got this.

This truck is top of the line. Fully Equipped. I have a clear title, free of any liens or loans. The price is firm, $37,500. I am selling it because my husband died a month ago (he suffered a heart attack) and it brings me bad memories and also I just had a neck surgery at my vocal cords (Vocal nodules) and I need the money to pay the medical bills for recovery.
Just let me know if you are interested and where are you located. Please contact me only if you have funds available.
Thanks! Hope to hear from you soon!
Anna Mayers
