Water Filtration system (Retreat 39DEN)

We finally took delivery at our permanant site last Thursday and we could not be more pleased. We had a few minor bugs such as little water pressure in the shower. I was unable to clear the head on the shower but when I took the head off the outside shower I discovered that it had the restrictor plate right at the bottom on the stem and it pops right out so I swapped them since we will probably never used the outside shower anyway. One nagging problem though, does anyone know where I might find the water filter? Is it in line or a cartridge? I have looked all over underneath the rig, under both sinks, unscrewed every compartment I could find and came up empty. Does anyone know what the extra water faucet to the right of the hot/cold faucet is for?

Sorry for the seemingly simple questions but we are new to the RV world.

Thanks for your help,

Welcome to the forum, Tom and Joann. Did you come across any information about the "water purification system" that is included as a standard feature on your unit in the Owner's Manual ? The Keystone website did not provide any details about it other than saying that it has one. Have you tried contacting the dealer - perhaps he might know. I am guessing that the additional "faucet" to the right of your galley sink taps could be a spray attachment????? The photo of the kitchen area on the Keystone Retreat website tells me that there is one there - or should be there.

Hello; the filter on mine at least is located under the sink and to the right.
If you take the small drawers out you will see it. We still haven't hooked ours up yet but we are hooked up to town water. The faucet itself is suppose to be used for drinking water. I will check my shower head out also due to the fact that we have no pressure there as you stated.

We found the water filter system the hard way as it started to leak as a result of it being crossthreaded. Gotta love easy fixes like that. Anyway it is right behind the kitchen drawers and it feeds the spout just to the right of the sink faucet. That is the only source of filtered water in the unit contary to being hold it was whole house but its fine to use to drink from however it does not get very cold.
