F250 & Superglide 2900 Hitch

I bought a Pullrite Superglide 2900 18K hitch for my 2011 F250. Plan is to be pulling a Fuzion 322 toy hauler and would like to know if anyone has any info on this hitch. A friend told me he was told it sits up a little too high but wondering if anyone else has any experience with this hitch? I bought it from a guy that used it twice and then traded trucks but he had it installed at a huge RV place here in Houston where he bought his toy hauler. It's what they recommended and it fits on "industry standard rails" vs. their own (pullrite) super rails.

We just switched to a gooseneck adaptor. It works wonders and is easy to use!

One more question, can I leave my bed mat in the truck or will I have to take it out to install the hitch? I don't have a spray in liner, just the Ford rubber mat.

If you use a B&W gooseneck and the fifth wheel adaptor, you may be ok. If you use the fifth wheel rails, you should be able to cut the rubber to fit.
Our 322 pulls great. We put the gooseneck adaptor on the king pin and love it. CW did the retrofit and we can switch to a fifth wheel as needed. The B&W ball flips over and hides so that we still have full bed use when not towing. They make the companion for fifth wheel use that gown into the gooseneck ball hole.

Thanks but I have the Pullrite Superglide 2900 hitch. It's the one that goes on the industry standard rails. I may call Pullrite and see what they recommend. I have the hitch already and the rails and frame brackets are supposed to be here Wednesday.

The bed mat will have to either be cut to fit around the rails or removed completely.

X2 what PerryB posted. You want a solid, metal to metal mount for the rails. The rubber mat will affect your ability to properly torque the fasteners.

Thanks everyone, got it installed and had them cut the bed mat. They did a great job cutting it, looks like it was made to fit the hitch. Hoping to pick up the 2011 Fuzion 322 Touring Edition next weekend.
