TV Question

Purchased a 2022 Bullet 258 rks. Not picking it up till 1st week in May. I know the TV is an Insignia. Would anyone know what size it is and if it's a smart TV? THANKS

I can't find the size of the TV in the specs or in the 3 videos I watched. Looks like maybe a 40?? Hard to tell. If it were me I would call your salesman and have him measure it so you KNOW what YOUR tv actually is. Different brands even measure a little different.

Specs on all the info sheets I pulled say it has just an LED TV. I highly doubt they put a smart TV in it.

I couldn't find anything about it either. My wife said for what we paid for it that it should be a smart TV. Ha ha. Thanks for trying to find out though. Really wasn't that important. I was just curious.

The OEM will put the cheapest piece of equipment they can acquire at the time. It will work...most of them do. I am just now replacing our OEM Furrion TV with a 4k, Smart TV since the Furrion is neither of those things. But that's a subjective, personal choice. The Furrion still works just fine.

If the TV turns on and plays what you want it to play then whether or not you want to change it is up to you. The Insignia TV's I see online seem to have decent ratings so it might work just fine. When it comes to TVs...size does matter.

If it's no better than the Furrion that came in this trailer I would just replace it when you get it. The sound, speakers and most everything else on recent year RV TVs is just poor. On this one I replaced the speakers on the sound system during the 1st trip. The TV had some issues with channel scan so replaced it when I returned with a Smart TV and added a soundbar. NOW I can use it like I want vs the OE "lower shelf" components.
