Easy Start and Coleman Mach 15

Hello all,
I have an Easy Start model ASY-364-X20 from Micro-Air that I never got around to installing on a TT that I no longer have so I thought it might be a good thing to install it on my new Cougar 24RDS equipped with a single Coleman-Mach 15 Quiet air conditioner.
However, as I was gathering instructions and checking compatibility I came across an information sheet on the Mach 15 that states the unit has a start kit with start capacitors and PTCR device as standard equipment to make starting easier under high temperature and humidity conditions.

So now I'm wondering - is the Easy Start not necessary in the new(er) Mach 15 Quiet air conditioners?

Edit: Just went outside and observed the amperage draw while turning on the air conditioner. Prior to turning it on, leg 1 showed 2 amps. When I activated the air conditioner and could hear it blowing air the reading stayed at 2 amps for several seconds before finally changing to 10 amps.
This sounds to me like the same thing the Easy Start is supposed to do.
Am I correct in concluding the Easy Start is unnecessary in this application?

It is difficult to measure start current so be cautious with interpreting what you measured.

I doubt the a/c unit has a true easy start already installed.
