Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems & Tires

I'm getting a new set of Carlisle tires and I was wondering when they spin balance the tires should the sensor be on or off the tire when they balance them.

The sensor manufacturers say it does not matter. I had my sensors on the stems when being balanced.

Have you replaced the rubber stems with metal stems?

Slow,
It came with metal stems. I think I will leave my sensors on when they balance them.

I would also leave them on during balancing. Why not balance as close to how they'll run on the highway as possible??
