Fiberglass damage

On our maiden voyage our poor Mabel got a bit of fiberglass damage on the right rear corner. We do not want to use our insurance to get it repaired. What kind of place would be sent her to for repair? Is it possible to fix at home? We are worried about not getting the "Shiny" surface back. It is about a 7 x 7 area on the corner. Thanks

Your best bet is an experienced boat repair shop. The good ones can make it look just like new. That is what most dealers do...call the bost shop for fiberglass repairs. Unless there is some frame damage it should not be too expensive. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. We will get it done! Fortunately there was no frame damage.

Hubby was swatting a fly and let the rig wiggle just a little too much and it rubbed against a cement barrier on the highway lol.
