DVD Player in 2012 Laredo - ESTONE 8500

Sorry for the fuzzy picture. Its the only one I have of it. I wasn't able to find a better pic on the net.

This system has a USB plug AND a "Digi-Port" plug on the front.

I was able to connect a USB drive to the USB port, but I was unable to get anything to play out of it.

I read the "instruction manual" that came with it, but it was of very little use.

Has anyone found any documentation or figured out what it can play and how it can play it?

Can it play any video formats from a USB drive?

What is the Digi-Port? Does anyone use it?

I have the same unit, and I can't even get the DVD player to work right. Plays some DVDs, but not others. Thinking of canning the system and building my own.

I haven't had any problems playing DVDs, although most of the DVDs I play are backup copies burned using DVDfab.
