Make sure you aren't confusing a solar charge controller with an inverter. Unless ordered or installed special you may not have an inverter. Although some campers come with them. Connections go solar to controller to battery then battery to inverter. An inverter will not work if connected directly toost controllers.

Coffee pot uses more than 500 watts, likely 1,500 watts. Now you need to reset your inverter.

Also, most prewired solar systems don't have a built in controller. Without a controller you will fry your batteries.

Would you mind posting a picture of where your cables from the rooftop connector came out to the location of your solar charge converter. I would think the spot for the solar charge controller would be near the batteries, but I can't find mine.
