Welcome to the forum.

There is about 999 different possibilities. Can you get inside? If so then just take the plate off the door lock set and there should be a tag with the number. Your other choice is to just replace the whole lock set. Probably about the same price by the time you pay shipping.

If the key you have is the original key and if you have both parts that broke, there should be a "key code" on the key. You should be able to locate a replacement key from that code. If you don't have the broken parts or if the code is not stamped on the broken key, then you'll need to do as chuck suggested and access the inside of t he trailer to disassemble the lock to get the code from inside the faceplate. Alternatively, you can drill the lock to remove it. I'd urge you to make sure you can obtain a replacement lock assembly BEFORE you destroy the existing one. There are a few "lock models" that are no longer available and if yours is one of them, you may find yourself replacing the entire door rather than just the lock.
