Hey.....Purchased our 27RL Sprinter campfire last Spring (9500 LB mx load). No experience with anti sway before then. All I can say is that we have the Blue Ox with no problems. We are limited with our van, an E-350 with the 7.3 diesel. If we upgraded, a different (new?) vehicle may be the first requirement. The question that you may want to ask (?).... if you haven't, in my mind, would be if you upgrade would what you are looking at do the trick for a heavier, later model....and that may show how little I know. I don't think the OP can go much bigger without moving to a 5er.

I loved my Equal-i-zer when I was bumper hitch towing. I was curious, did some research, and found that both the Equal-i-zer brand and the Andersen brand you linked to are limited to 1,400 lbs tw. So my opinion is neither fits your requirements. Since you are already shopping at etrailer.com, I did a search on 1,600 lbs tw and they have 5 choices. here is the link for my search. https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Wei...-1600_lbs.aspx
My thoughts are always have more capacity in your systems than what your trailer requires, so 1,560 is your minimum tw capacity for your wd anti-sway hitch setup.

Thank you all for the help. Went with blue ox 20000 lb and 2000lb bars as my trailer sits at 1650lb with almost empty 2 big propane tanks on front. So I will be close to 1700 lb plus some weight in my truck box so.2000 lb is awesome for me

Sounds like you’ll be happy with your choice. Let us know how it does when you take a trip.

I have the propride with a 32’ cougar TT pulled with a diesel excursion. Been using it for 11 years. It pulls like a fifth wheel! Hookup is quick most of the time once you ge tthe hang of it. So glad i purchased it and Sean is great to work with.

Hensley

Hensley arrow all the way.... after having an accident with my first Hensley seeing the way it preventing being pushed into oncoming traffic I will never use anything else.. plus it has zero sway, the ability to turn really sharp and since it also adds inches to the distance between the jack and tailgate you van lower the gate without disconnecting

why you guys dont understand that type of hitch you offer wont work for my set up.
Example. If your tt weight 10000 lb would you buy a 8000 lb hitch ? Dont think so. So please keep your pp2 and hensly to your self. If some one ask for help please respect that and dont offer hitches that will be weak

Call Hensley.... ask them about there hitches.... see what they say. From my conversations with them I am pretty sure the arrow will do what you want and be more than safe.... btw ... it was an opinion.. take it or leave it no need to get nasty about what is free...

I called both pp2 and hensley. They all rated at 1400lb bars max. They all say you can do more then that. If I can do more then that them put a tag on it that will show 1800lb and I will buy it. Just trying to get useful info. Its same as I will say you can tow with f150 12k 5th wheel. Can you tow? Yes. Donyou want? NO same here. They all day you can but when something will happen they will be like...
Why did you buy the hitch which under rated for your trailer. You understand where I am going.

Yes I do and like you I would not risk it... but..... when I spoke to them a good while back before i purchased my first arrow the sales person was honest and recommended other product from other brands that would do what I needed because they could not... to me that was great customer service and an honest rep. In the end I down sized and ended up with a trailer the was well within their specs... and bought the arrow. Even though their cub model would have done fine... over kill but I went on the safe side. So yes I get you

Wish I had some toys to haul.... but unfortunately we just purchased two new vehicles and a new trailer.. no toys for me . But I did get a nice Yukon Denali ,so no complaints..
I am sure you will be satisfied and safe with what ever hitch you buy
