Flood light not turning off

Hello all I have a 2010 cougar that the flood light wont turn off on. I look in the forums and the normal fix it looks like is using the remote. Unfortunately mine does not have a remote. I pulled the panel and tried hooking it up to a different switch incase the switch was bad but it did not turn off. Any suggestions on what to try next?

You might have "HAD" a remote and just don't currently have the transmitter, but the receiver is still active ???? You might try disconnecting your battery and unplugging shore power (in other words, removing ALL power from the trailer) and let it sit "unpowered" for at least a couple hours, then reconnect everything and see if the light will operate with the switch.
