Black Hex Air Filters

I have an AFE cold air system on my TV. It came with a K&N-style, conical air filter, which I don't like due to their inefficiency in filtering. Those style filters are taboo in the ATV/offroad community.

I put an R2C filter on my ATV and have been very impressed with it. They also make filters for road vehicles, so I called them about a Black Hex for the Cummins, because the website didn't list one of the correct size. They asked me for the dimensions I needed, made one in a few days and shipped it to me for a very reasonable, competitive price. Perfect fit.

They also make stock filters for some vehicles. Give them a look, as they are cleanable, lifetime, high flow filters with over 99% filtering capabilty. They really work.

I might have to check into them. Although the OE AC Delco filter for Duramax has been shown to flow very well (more than what the engine requires) and filter better than most after market filters so it'd be tough for me to make a switch.
